The Lagavulin distillery is considered by many to be the exact reflection of classic malts, very deep and very peaty whiskeys.
16 years of age, the house's emblematic vintage, is a minimum for Lagavulin; it is a malt that requires taking your time in order to develop all its aromas.
Very peaty and very rich whiskey, it has aged for 16 years in oak barrels, notes of seaweed and dried fruits predominate.
Color: Amber gold
Nose: Predominance of peat, notes of algae and wood.
Taste: Malted barley, dried fruits, very gourmand notes. Explosion of peppery smoke in the aftertaste
Finish: Elegant, long and peaty.
