The meeting between MiHa's paintings and the rose wine of Chateau Puech Haut IGP Pays d'Oc

Chateau Puech-Haut

Elegant and collectors , the metal barrels of the Puech Haut estate (Herault) are decorated by international artists. Inside, we find wine vintages as pleasant as the visuals, in 3L plastic bags : white, red or rose, the choice is yours (however, it is possible that not all wines are available for the same artist).

Discover here the barrel decorated by MIHA (Mireille Hallier), an artist with a unique style.

Chateau Puech Haut and its Bib'Art

The Bib'art adventure began in 2000, when Chateau Puech Haut imagined a 3L rose wine container that was stylish and could proudly sit in the center of a table .

The Chateau then decided to give carte blanche to international artists from all backgrounds and graphic styles to decorate the estate's wooden barrels. For the duration of a work, they share the same wooden "canvas". The decorations are then printed on the small metal barrels containing the wine bag.

The Bib'Art Puech-Haut are thus exact replicas of the barrels painted by the artists, a dream sharing between wine and art. Each barrel is signed and numbered for the greatest pleasure of collectors. In exchange, the artists receive the quantity of wine contained in the barrel: the content against the container !

More than a hundred artists have already participated in this crazy adventure. At BienManger.com, we offer you new releases every year, as well as the great classics.

The artist MiHa

Mireille Hallier, known as MiHa, is a French visual artist born in Paris in 1967. Attracted from a young age by drawing and materials, she studied communication before starting a career in publishing and press relations. However, her desire to explore new horizons led her to spend several years at sea, thus enriching her personal experience.

In 2000, MiHa moved to Antibes and decided to devote herself fully to her passion for the visual arts. Self-taught, she has an innate sense of volumes that naturally leads her towards scenography. For nearly ten years, she participated in the creation of numerous sets, notably for the Nice Opera, which allowed her to acquire and master various artistic techniques.

In 2013, MiHa chose Pezenas, in Herault, as her new home port to devote herself entirely to her personal creations. Her artistic universe is marked by imposing characters with incisive lines and bold colors. Her works, whether paintings or sculptures, reflect an instinctive style and a bold exploration of materials and colors.

MiHa defines herself as an instinctive artist, impatient to see the result of her new creations. Her work, imbued with vitality and precision, evolves organically from one work to another, while maintaining a distinctive artistic signature.

Le Benjamin wines from Puech-Haut

Starting from a virgin vineyard near Montpellier, on the foothills of the Cevennes, the Puech Haut estate is today one of the largest vineyards in the region. Its 115 hectares benefit from a Mediterranean climate , on land identical to that of Chateauneuf-du-Pape: clay and limestone soils, covered with rolled pebbles .

Cultivated using sustainable agriculture , without chemical weedkillers, the grape varieties are carefully selected for their suitability to the terroir. The harvests of these Languedoc IGP wines are carried out manually at perfect maturity .

The vinifications are done in barrels or wooden vats, depending on the color, but always in separate grape varieties, to preserve all the typicity of the wine. Aging in barrels imposes an astonishing singularity on the wines. A sure value of Languedoc!
