filled and slightly naughty cookies. Discover them here in a pretty metal box with a retro design from the Sète region.

If the base of the recipe is quite classic

flour and vanilla

it is the addition of a touch of rosé wine that makes it so original and gives it a little acidic taste, a silky texture and a pretty pastel color.

A rosé wine from the region, of course, which will go wonderfully with this little cookie that is definitely naughty. But if you prefer, the Zezettes de Sètes are also delicious with a coffee, a tea and at any time of the day.

The history of the Zézettes

Its history goes back to the 70's, when Gaston Bentata, with a head full of recipes from his childhood, decided to share this family heritage with as many people as possible and started to sell his cookies on the markets. One of them in particular was very successful and its elongated shape made customers smile. If you want to be evocative, you might as well be frank about it, and the little cookie was then renamed Zézette de Sète.
